Whitney Nominee 1

Flowers of Grace is an official nominee for thee 2015 Whitney Awards.

The Whitney Awards honor the best fiction of the year written by Latter-day Saint authors. They describe their mission in this way:

Elder Orson F. Whitney, an early apostle in the LDS church, prophesied “We will yet have Miltons and Shakespeares of our own.” It is our hope to be a part of that journey toward excellence by honoring the LDS writers also working toward that goal.

The three-tiered judging consists of reader nominations, the choosing of finalists in five categories by February 2016, and then final winners announced in May 2016.

Thank you, readers, for your nomination. What an honor to be included with other talented Whitney nominees past and present!

Flowers of Grace is my first novel; completing it felt like an accomplishment in itself. But I would be elated for it to also receive an award of the caliber of the Whitney Awards.
